One Day/One Lion

“Go to every event, join every club, and be as involved as you can. You will miss it one day and it will go by too fast.” is some advice Katie Sims gives to students at LHS.

Katie plans on attending IU or IUPUI to become a nurse practitioner. She is looking forward to meeting new people and living in a bigger city.

Katie has liked her experience in high school because she liked being with her friends every day and she liked being involved in activities. Her favorite class in high school was anatomy because she liked learning about the body and she will need it in the future. She loved being in a small town because she was close to her friends. Katie was involved in Tennis, Lionettes, FACS, SADD, PEP, Spanish, Student Council, BETA, Musical, and Choir.

Katie will be known for passing out at the blood drive at LHS.

In 10 years this Lion will be living in Loogootee, working as a nurse practitioner.
