Sociology is the study of human social behavior from a group perspective. This hands-on course will enable you to use the sociological perspective to study recurring patterns in people’s attitudes and actions and how these patterns vary across time, cultures, and in social settings and groups. What this means is the overall goal of this course is to introduce you to a new way of seeing the interaction of diverse groups of people rather than simply conveying information.
The content in this course is based on the Indiana Academic Standards 2014. A complete description of each standard can be found HERE.
