The purpose of the Spanish Club is to promote learning the language and having a cultural awareness of Spanish-speaking people. It is an extension of what is studied in Spanish class. Students who wish to tour a Spanish-speaking country in the near future should be members of the Spanish Club.
Club Colors: Red, Yellow, Blue
Club Motto: Español: El Poder de Saber (The Power of Knowing)
Club Emblem: Lion with Sombrero
You must be enrolled in Spanish 1, 2, 3, or 4 during the current school year or must have completed Spanish 1, 2, 3, 4. Membership dues with tee are $10.00 and should be paid to club treasurer or Sra. Bough. Club members are considered active if they obtain 15-30 points per semester for projects and have good attendance.
Meetings: Meetings are held in room 433, the auditorium, or the cafeteria during WIN. Check the school calendar, announcements, and the club bulletin board for information.
