My name is Hannah Kidwell. I am beginning my 11th year (Oh, my……has it really been that long already?)…as an elementary teacher at Loogootee Community Schools. I taught two years of fifth grade and one year of sixth. This is my eighth year teaching kindergarten and I am so excited! I am a 2003 graduate of Loogootee Community Schools, where I was active in cheerleading and volleyball. After graduation I attended and graduated from Oakland City University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Special Education. I finished receiving my Master’s in Teacher Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2011.
I am currently the Varsity Cheer Coach at Loogootee. I’ve been married for almost 8 years to my husband, Trey, who is a Civil Engineer at Schroeder and Associates in Washington. We have a daughter named, Breah Michael, who will be 5 years old in December and three month old baby boy named Finn William.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping and vacationing. During the summer months I also teach swim lessons to many different children.
