Mr./Coach Carroll is a 2007 graduate of Vincennes Rivet High School, lettering 4 years in baseball, soccer, and basketball. He attended Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill., where he continued his baseball career for the Eagles and majored in Social Science with a minor in Secondary Education. After college, Carroll received a professional tryout with the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League. Carroll served two years in the North Daviess School system while being a Varsity Assistant and JV Head Coach for the baseball program. He also coached soccer at his alma mater as a Varsity Assistant and Goalie Coach. Carroll then moved on to teach Geography at Emmerich Manual High School and was the Head Baseball Coach for the 2014-15 season. Carroll then accepted a teaching position in July 2015 at Loogootee, teaching U.S. History, Government, and Practical Arts. He also took over the Varsity Baseball team. Carroll is also a 1st Lieutenant in the Indiana Army National Guard assigned to the 76th Brigade, 1-163rd Artillery Battalion, 113th FSC out of Evansville, Indiana. Carroll and his wife Holly are the proud parents of their daughter Irie.
