I'm a 1976 graduate of Lincoln High School, in Vincennes, IN. I then went on to attend Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN and received a BS degree in Art Education in 1980. I furthered my education with an MS in Art at Indiana State University, completing my degree in 1986. I've been teaching at Loogootee since the 1984-85 school year. From 1987-98 I was the girls' varsity tennis coach. In 1988 I became the boys' varsity tennis coach and continued in that capacity through the 2007 season. I retired for four seasons and then returned in 2011 and have been coaching since. My wife Betsy, who teaches instrumental music, and I have been married for 35-years and have two adult children, Ian and Kellie, and two grandchildren, Carter and Lilian. Aside from art and tennis my other hobbies include collecting and listening to music, seeing as many live bands as possible, travel and cycling. I am an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and try to attend a game once a year if possible...regardless of the weather!
