Hi! My name is Sarah Mullen. I am one of the special education teachers at Loogootee Elementary School. I work with students who have learning or emotional disabilities/difficulties. We work really hard and stay on target with a positive mindset!
I am very enthusiatic about the 2018-2019 school year! This school year is my 6th year at the elementary building. Prior to that, I was at Loogootee Jr./Sr. High School teaching English to resource students for 8 years.
I have my teaching license in Elementary Education K-6, Special Education- Mild Intervention K-12, and Language Arts 5-12.
I have been employed with the Daviess-Martin Special Education Cooperative for 15 years.
My husband, John Mullen and I have 6 children. Taylin is a Freshman at The University of Southern Indiana studying Nursing, Kallin is a sophomore, Colleen and Jaylen are in 8th grade, Karcyn is a 3rd grader and Brynleigh is a 1st grader. The oldest 4 are all actively involved in volleyball, tennis, track, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, chorus, and religious youth groups. When I am not cheering on my children in their sporting events or spending time with the family, I enjoy PHOTOGRAPHY, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, cooking, baking, and the outdoors!
