I grew up in Cleveland, OH and always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. My mother and grandmother were both teachers and I played school at home all the time. In high school, I was required to spend several weeks in a job that I wanted to do and I chose to work with students with Special Needs. I loved it and decided that this was my future.
I have been a teacher for more than 20 years and I have taught all grades from Preschool to High School. I have taught in Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and Florida. In 2005, my husband was transferred to NSWC Crane so we moved to Indiana. We love the area and enjoy being closer to our families.
My husband, Kelly, my daughter, Jenna and I live on West Boggs Lake and enjoy being on or near the water. I also enjoy reading, biking and being around animals. I truly enjoy my job and love working with children/young adults every day.
