Meet The Principal

Ms. Laura Mattingly has been the Principal at Loogootee Elementary West since 1995.  Before becoming a Principal, Ms. Mattingly taught sixth grade, second grade, and was a Title I teacher/coordinator.  Ms. Mattingly attended Indiana University, where she received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education.  She completed her Master of Education degree through Indiana State University, and later obtained her Administrative degree from ISU as well.

Ms. Mattingly has two daughters, Kellie and Katie.  When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her daughters, and sailing.
