I am a 1992 graduate of Loogootee Jr/Sr High School. Upon graduation, I attended Marian University in Indianapolis where I was a four-year member of the women's basketball team and a three-year member of the women's tennis team. I graduated from Marian in 1996 with a bachlor of science in biology. After graduating, I continued my education at Marian earning my high school and middle school teaching certification and a chemistry minor. In August of 1998, I began my first teaching job at Westfield High School in Westfield, IN. While at Westfield, I taught Biology and Chemistry and was the girls varsity tennis coach and freshman girls basketball coach. In 2000-01, I became the Biology teacher at Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, IN. During that school year I was also the varsity volleyball coach at Loogootee High School. In August of 2001, I begain my teaching/coaching career at Loogootee High School. While at Loogootee, I have taught Biology, Chemistry, Life/Physical Science, and Integrated Chem/Phys in the High School as well as 7th and 8th grade science in the middle school. I have also held numerous coaching positions which include varsity volleyball, varsity girls basketball, girls basketball program coordinator, 5th grade girls basketball, 7th grade volleyball and 8th grade volleyball. My husband, Bob, and I have three children, Makenzie (13), Kylie (12), and Cooper (7). They are all very active in athletics and we enjoy watching them in all they do.
