Prom Time

Attention Juniors!

It is time to start preparations for Prom.  If you wish to attend Prom, you are required to work AT LEAST 8 hours in the days leading up to prom, but remember that this event cannot be created in only 8 hours. Please be prepared to help as much as possible.

Sporting events that week COULD include Track, Tennis, JV and Varsity Baseball, and JV Softball. Please plan to report to the gym following your sport on decorating days. If you work somewhere, NOW IS THE TIME to talk to your employer about the times you will need off for prom. We plan to work Wednesday evening, Thursday evening and all day Friday during the week of Prom. Additional hours may also be added in the weeks leading up to prom to begin on projects such as creating centerpieces and ironing linens. Mrs. Truelove will announce these times as they are scheduled.

Ladies, please schedule your nails, spray tans, and hair trials accordingly. Leaving in the middle of decorating days is very inconvenient.

Some items that we will need will include clear packing tape and duct tape. We will exchange six of these items for one hour of work, up to TWO hours. (This is good solution for those involved in many sports, but please take note that you will still be required to work SIX hours at minimum.) Other items may be added to the list as prom gets closer and all items can begin being collected after spring break.

Sign-up sheets and guest forms will also be available shortly after break.
