Every year Indiana University hosts an event for their first home game (usually the first weekend in September) inviting area schools to play at half time with the IU Marching Hundred. They send out music selections, and we practice those during class. We rehearse with the marching hundred in the morning on the day of the game. After rehearsal we had lunch, and the students had a great time! They got creative and started playing games as you can see in the attached videos and pictures. The other schools were seeing how much fun they were having and joined them too! After their "field activities," we changed into uniform and watched the pregame show put on by the Marching Hundred. The students absolutely loved the experience of playing with a Big 10 school! I'm still hearing them talk about how much fun they had.
